One man’s serene pastime, another man’s Hell

Oh you must understand
how some mulch on one’s land
makes the weeds die back,
And what once was a hill
now has dwindled until
I can see tarmac.
It’s suburban bliss,
Don’t you dare dismiss . . .
the complete satisfaction that I feel when I mow.

Woah oh!
What’s mulch got to do? Got to do with it?
What’s mulch but a landscaping solution?
What’s mulch got to do? Got to do with it?
Who needs Round-Up when it causes pollution?
Oooooooooh!
