Easter Hair Conditioner

apropos of nothing

I was a little ginger boy, later mellowing into a strawberry blonde. Finally, sometime in my 30’s, I graduated into the cue-ball I am today. My younger brother Benjamin was also a redhead, his locks fuller and redder than my own.

One Easter weekend when we were small, mom took us to an event for kids at the local strip mall. I was about five, but Benny was still young enough to climb into the huge basket full of hay where dozens of plastic eggs had been hidden. He emerged a few moments later with a huge grin on his face and a purple plastic egg in his tiny hand.

The egg contained a coupon for a free bottle of hair conditioner from the beauty salon located there at Akers Center.

The little bastard still has most of his hair.

Fuckin’ magic egg.
😏
Happy Easter!
