We are talking, not necessarily in opposition, about different aspects of an ugly situation.

One aspect is horrendous, systematic, and pervasive racism — and you are absolutely correct to point that out. Another is societal information-processing immaturity, a (in my opinion, ha ha) SENSELESS rush to judgement, and the ridiculous premium paid to opinion over a factual basis of understanding reality.

I am certainly not judging you personally not harshly for focusing on the aspects which fall quite naturally in your area of expertise. I always learn from listening to your perspectives.

Mine (understandably) come from a skightly different though certainly NOT adversarial perspective.

It is a shameful and disappointing turn of events, no matter how it ultimately plays out it what the underlying truth is. I think that much we can already judge and agree upon.
