I originally came across this recipe in the pages of Cook’s Illustrated, Ethan, one of the best magazines in print.
Make sure to use the expensive “Real Maple Syrup” from New England or Canada, not the cheap artificial stuff available for pancakes.
If you like brussels sprouts, this is a great alternative. Most of my friends who have tried it love it.
