I too was seduced by the title off the piece you write about, only to realize its true insidious intent, a little over halfway through. I had even tweeted a pithy quote from the beginning as I read. The moment I discovered the author’s true intent, I deleted the tweet.
“Tolerance” as a goal state is a slippery slope and so we must be vigilant not to fall into paradox of intolerance with our thinking:
