Tough luck, pal.

I’m almost 50 years old and still have to make it clear to people that I’m a gay man and I have no intentions of marrying a woman or having children.

Maybe a healthy way of of thinking about this reality is that REVEALING ONE’S TRUE SELF is everybody’s job. Some of us just get prompted a little more often than others. Take the initiative and do it yourself — then it doesn’t always feel like a reaction.

Coming out is a LIFETIME process . . . get used to that truth.

I hope the day will come when that seems more like a privilege to you than a burden.
